Digital Asset Management Helpdesk Training Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Training and Service Desk Specialist for a nine-month contract to curate records of daily data communication transactions, issues, and remedial actions taken. An ideal candidate will have experience working with digital asset management software.  The work involves providing support on a variety of computer software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure 

Job Description:

Help Desk Support:

• Receive, log, triage, and troubleshoot functional tickets promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure the timely completion of technical and functional system tickets, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Communicate technical issues, maintenance work, new features, and upgrades to users and relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Staff Training:

• Develop comprehensive training materials, including user guides, manuals, tutorials, and other instructional resources to facilitate the functional use of our systems.
• Maintain and update the help site, ensuring that it contains relevant and up-to-date information on system features and frequently asked questions.
• Conduct engaging introductory training sessions and collaborate with technical specialists to organize and execute specialized training sessions tailored to specific user needs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience providing exceptional system support.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and other relevant software applications.
• Demonstrated experience in developing training materials, user guides, and functional documentation.
• Ability to conduct engaging introductory and specialized training sessions in a virtual environment.
• Experience using OpenText Media Management or similar Digital Asset Management software is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Libsafe or similar preservation software is a plus.
