Job Description:

Determines overall design concept and package specifications to meet customer needs. Working with corrugated materials, tools and computer, constructs more complex sample packages. Reviews sample with appropriate personnel and revises as necessary. Orders samples and materials from vendors. Work with Packaging Designers to help elevate craft. Understanding of mechanical drawing and construction of models. Ability to use computer and computer aided design of packages. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Competence in mathematical and engineering skills used in design and construction of packaging materials. Ability to use measuring instruments, cutting tools, and other equipment.
