Pay Rate:

• Training Period 4-8weeks (1st Shift): $32.92/hr | Hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Regular Schedule (2nd Shift): $33.42/hr | Hours: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Skilled Maintenance Technician (Level II) to join our team for a second-shift role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting plant production systems to ensure optimal operation. The technician will complete 4-8 weeks of daytime training before transitioning to a nighttime schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on manufacturing equipment and systems to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical and mechanical components, including:
  PLC systems (Allen Bradley)
  Variable frequency drives (VFDs)
  Pneumatics, hydraulics, servo motors
  Refrigeration (NH3), boilers, and HVAC systems
• Execute preventive maintenance routines and document findings.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Accurately estimate material and labor requirements for assigned tasks.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and detailed maintenance records.
• Assist in coordinating repairs with vendors or team members when necessary.
• Support a safe, sanitary manufacturing environment, with special consideration to food manufacturing standards.
• Adapt to alternate work schedules and shifts as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an industrial maintenance role or a technical degree in a related field.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and drawings.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment specific to maintenance trades.
• Prior experience in food manufacturing, sanitary design, or Six Sigma/5S practices is a strong plus.
• Must be a motivated, collaborative team player.
