Weiler Machine Operator

Job Description:

**HIRING WEILER MACHINE OPERATOR**
An International Oilfield services company that manufactures inflatable packers and swellable packer products is seeking a skilled Weiler Machine Operator to join a dynamic team in a climate-controlled shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating various machining tools and equipment.

• Location: Houston, TX 77092
• Shift: 1st Shift (6am-2:30pm)
• Pay: $23.00 - $30.00/hr. (DOE)

Duties:

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including milling machines and electrical discharge machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications for machining operations.
• Utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure accuracy in production.
• Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing practices for efficiency improvements.

Qualifications:

• High Diploma or GED
• Mori Seki with Fanuc controls experience
• Threading experience should include: API, Rotary shoulder connections, buttress, Stub Acme, Acme, 8 round 10 round tapered connections.
• Must have set up experience
• Ability to read and understand g-code
• Ability to read and run canned cycles
• Experience with threads (rotary connections, IF threads)
• Own toolbox and tools
• Be able to work with close tolerances
