Your Role:

As a Software Engineer (Generalist) at swipejobs, you'll have the opportunity to work across frontend, backend, or DevOps, depending on your strengths and interests. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions that power our intelligent staffing platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality applications (frontend, backend, or infrastructure)
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code using modern frameworks and best practices
• Participate in system architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews
• Support the full software development lifecycle - from concept to release and monitoring
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to solve real user problems
• Contribute to platform stability, performance, and scalability initiatives
• Stay curious and engaged with the latest tools and technologies in your domain

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in software development across one or more areas:
  Frontend: JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js
  Backend: Java, Spring Boot, Node.js
  DevOps: AWS, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes
• Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices
• Understanding of modern development principles (clean code, testing, CI/CD, Agile)
• Problem-solver mindset and passion for building reliable, user-focused solutions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
