Job Description - A facility in Glens Falls, NY is looking for a Registered Nurse for their Psych unit (Psych RN) to provide direct patient care, administer medications, and monitor patient health in various healthcare settings. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop treatment plans, educate patients on health management, and ensure compliance with medical protocols. Maintain accurate patient records and respond to emergencies promptly. Focus on patient advocacy and delivering compassionate care to promote recovery and well-being.

The facility will consider local caregivers at a discounted rate.

Required Experience/Skills:  Minimum of 2 years experience

Required Lic/Certs: New York State Nursing License, BLS, De-escalation training

Unit Info: 25 beds; RN:PT Ration is 1:7

Charting: Epic experience required

Shift: Nights (6:45 pm-7:15 am); Every other holiday, every other weekend

Duration: 13 weeks

Estimated Start Date: 12/30/2024

Pay Package Breakdown

• Taxable Wages Per Hour: $28.75
• Taxable Wages Per Week: $1,035.00
• Non-Taxable Housing Per Week: $770.00
• Non-Taxable MI&E  Per Week: $476.00
• Estimated Gross Wages Per Week: $2,281.00 for 36 hours
• Estimated Gross Wages Per Hour: $63.36
