We are Hiring Immediately for a Mixer position!

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB:

DUTIES:

· Accomplishes department's and organization's mission by completing related results as needed.

· Assures asphalt/butyl solution quality and personal safety by following standard operating procedures

· Performs product line audits.

· Selects ingredients based on pre-determined formulas.

· Verifies accuracy of numerical calculations for processing.

· Manages inventory of raw materials utilized.

Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma with some college courses in Math and or Science preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

1 + year of previous experience in a manufacturing environment a must. Industrial Mixing experience is highly desirable.

(An equivalent combination of education and work experience that satisfy the requirements of the job may be sufficient).

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:

This position requires successful completion of pre-employment checks to include a criminal background check, drug screening and if appropriate driving/motor vehicle records checks.

INTERPERSONAL CONTACTS:

Contacts are with superiors, peers, subordinates, customers, and/or vendors. Contacts require the ability to exercise a high degree of interpersonal skills to influence persons at all levels. Incumbent is accountable for the results of the contact.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Industrial Mixers work constantly outside and are exposed to all types of weather conditions year round both night and day.

Must be clean shaven as a safety precaution due to the use of respirators.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The following are some of the physical demands commonly associated with this position.

Work at elevated heights up to 30 feet above ground.

Climb, reach, grasp, handle, stand, and walk frequently.

Lift up to 60 pounds frequently.

Speak and hear person to person or via two way radio.

Read, write, and speak English.
