Operations Manager - Janitorial Services

Orange County | New Branch Launch | Full-Time | Bilingual Preferred

Our staffing agency is seeking an experienced Operations Manager - Janitorial Services to lead and grow Orange County operations, including supporting the launch of a new branch office (exact location TBD).

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who can oversee day-to-day custodial operations while helping establish and expand a new regional presence. The selected candidate must be flexible to initially work from home until the branch location is finalized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily janitorial operations across assigned Orange County facilities
  • Ensure full compliance with contract requirements and service standards
  • Manage custodial teams and conduct routine quality and safety inspections
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations
  • Monitor payroll accuracy, timecards, and operational documentation
  • Track and manage inventory of supplies and equipment
  • Conduct site safety inspections (SDS, PPE, equipment, etc.)
  • Hold monthly safety meetings and provide training as needed
  • Address employee relations matters and communicate issues appropriately
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure overall customer satisfaction
  • Support the setup and operational launch of a new branch office

Qualifications

  • 4-10 years of management experience (janitorial or facilities services strongly preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams
  • Knowledge of janitorial equipment, materials, and safety standards
  • Experience managing payroll processes and operational documentation
  • Ability to work independently and delegate effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Flexibility with schedule and work location
