Job Description:

WANTED! Operations Manager for Janitorial Services company. You are responsible for the day-to-day operations and administrative activities, develop and implement cost control measures and level of service standards to ensure compliance with customer specifications / contract requirements for assigned buildings. You will oversees inspections, manage custodial teams, monitor quality control measures, and the inventory control of equipment and supplies for the assigned project.

Must have some experience in Janitorial/ Floor Care industry.

  • Flexibility with working hours to support operations as required
  • Able to communicate with line staff on work request and inspections as required
  • Able to Comprehend the Scope of Work
  • People Skills (Able to work well with others)
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and all federal, state, and local government regulations
  • Manage the company's quality control monitoring and safety programs at the assigned buildings.
  • Ensure that payroll is accurate and submitted to the appropriate payroll personnel in a timely manner and, when applicable, correct any payroll discrepancies.
  • Ensure that all paperwork, including terminations, labor variance action plans, and operational model is complete and accurate and is submitted to the district/hub in a timely manner.
  • Track Inventory of Supplies.
  • Hold monthly safety meetings and provide safety training when appropriate to staff and monitor the staff ensuring that PPE's are worn at all time and other protective measures are being taken
  • Responsible for inspecting staff employee's work to ensure we meet overall client satisfaction.
  • Responsible for managing supplies at each site, and making sure supplies are being ordered in a timely manner

Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in maintenance and janitorial work
  • Must have excellent internal and external customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to lead others and motivate people
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team; an intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills
  • Microsoft Office skills, i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work with independently with little or no supervision
  • Be able to delegate work as needed

As part of the job, you will drive a company vehicle to your assigned accounts. You must have a clean DMV record and be insurable.
