• $17.00 per hour pay rate
• Full Time
• Contract
• Onsite in Edison, NJ
• Schedule: 8:30am - 5pm M-F

Only considering candidates with the following:

• Proven experience in a quality control or quality assurance role with digital and mechanical equipment.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Proficiency in PC applications and basic computer systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues using application software and test instruments.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with team members and peers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with digital imaging products (cameras, lenses).
• Proficiency in following detailed technical specifications and testing protocols.
• Experience using inspection and testing equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the quality of digital imaging products (new stock, returns, and repaired cameras) using standard testing procedures and appropriate equipment.
• Determine if products meet established manufacturer specifications.
• Judge product conformance to specifications.
• Facilitate the movement of products throughout the Quality Control process.
• Direct conforming products to the next phase of processing (e.g., inventory, fulfillment).
• Direct non-conforming products to the appropriate contractor or department for corrective action.
• Accurately record customer repair inspection results in the repair system and on required reject paperwork.
• Identify and report quality trends and potential systemic issues to the Sr. Manager.
