Job Description:
The Training Specialist is responsible for familiarizing themselves with all departments and supporting the onboarding and training experience of new hires, including both full-time and temporary employees. This role ensures new employees are successfully integrating into their roles by conducting daily check-ins, gathering feedback, and documenting training progress. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Become familiar with all departments and their training processes. Conduct daily check-ins with new hires throughout each shift. Communicate daily with Trainers, Supervisors, and Trainees to gather information on: Training tasks assigned Progress of training Strengths and areas needing improvement Monitor and support both full-time and temporary employees during their training period. Complete daily documentation for each new hire and submit reports as required. Report any issues, concerns, or questions to the Supervisor and/or Operations Manager promptly. Create and implement training matrices for all departments. Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation. Plan and implement monthly training sessions. Support employee engagement and retention efforts by providing consistent followup and communication.
Qualifications: Administrative experience required Onsite manufacturing experience preferred Self-motivated with a proactive, go-getter attitude Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees and leadership Bilingual required (Spanish) Intermittent Word and Excel experience required Ability to stand and walk for 8-9 hours per day Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
