IT/OT Systems Engineer

Job Description:

Title: IT/OT Systems Engineer (GxP Manufacturing)

• Location: Boulder, CO (Onsite, Monday-Friday)
• Contract: 1 Year
• Pay Rate: Up to $50.02/hour

Overview

We are seeking an IT/OT Systems Engineer to support a GMP-regulated manufacturing and lab environment in Boulder, CO. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for IT systems and infrastructure, supporting both lab and production operations.

You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot issues, maintain system performance, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

IT/OT Infrastructure Support

• Manage and maintain IT/OT systems across lab and manufacturing environments
• Support servers, workstations, and networked equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with minimal supervision
• Assist with automation and scripting to improve system efficiency
• Support industrial systems including connected devices and plant-floor technology

Technical Support

• Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues on site
• Partner with global teams and vendors to resolve system issues
• Provide hands-on support for lab systems and manufacturing equipment

Compliance & Security

• Ensure systems meet GMP / GxP and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements
• Support audits, documentation, and validation processes
• Maintain system security and assist in identifying vulnerabilities

Qualifications

Required:

• 3-5+ years of experience in IT/OT, infrastructure, or systems support
• Experience in GMP or GxP-regulated environments
• Basic understanding of networking and IT security
• Experience supporting systems in manufacturing or lab environments

Preferred:

• Experience with industrial automation (PLC, SCADA, etc.)
• Familiarity with Computer System Validation (CSV)
• Experience working in regulated industries such as pharma, biotech, or medical device
