Quality Assurance Coordinator

Job Description:

This project supports the Missouri Department of Social Services (DSS), Family Support Division (FSD), in administering Medicaid and SNAP programs for the State of Missouri.

Pay Rate: $19.88 per hour
Work Location: Remote / Work from Home

Training Details:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST
• Duration: December 3 - January 21 (30 days; includes Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

Hours of Operation:

• Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST

3-6 month assignment with possibility of extension.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate staff performance based on project standards, contractual requirements, and quality benchmarks.
• Assist in developing, designing, and recommending strategies to improve performance and quality outcomes.
• Support the development, analysis, and distribution of project reports and performance metrics.
• Assess staff knowledge related to processes and policies, identifying training needs and creating plans to address them.
• Conduct ongoing quality assurance monitoring activities to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Support efforts to meet contractual performance standards and operational goals.
• Stay current on all policies and procedures; assist with developing new processes and updating existing documentation when changes occur.
• Help produce and maintain staff resources such as quick reference guides, matrices, charts, and workflows.
• Participate in staff training sessions as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 0-2 years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Equipment Requirements:

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD): Must meet provided Work-from-Home Technical Requirements and include a functional camera.

• Computer: Personal desktop or laptop (no tablets, iPads, Chromebooks, or smartphones).
• Operating System: Windows 10 version 22H2 or higher, or macOS 12.5 or newer (HP users must disable S Mode).
• Processor: Intel Core i5 or equivalent.
• Memory (RAM): Minimum 4 GB (8 GB preferred).
• Storage: Minimum 64 GB (128 GB SSD or higher preferred).
• Headset: USB plug-and-play wired headset with microphone and noise suppression preferred; Bluetooth acceptable if wired unavailable.
