Job Title: Bilingual Supervisor
Location: Chicago, IL 60617
Shift: 6am-3pm, M-F - with overtime
Position Summary
The Floor Supervisor oversees daily on-site workforce operations within a client facility, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards are consistently met. This role acts as the primary point of contact; driving performance, attendance, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of temporary employees on the production floor
- Monitor productivity, attendance, and performance to meet client expectations and KPIs
- Serve as the on-site liaison between client management, and employees
- Enforce workplace safety standards, policies, and procedures
- Provide coaching, guidance, and disciplinary action when necessary
- Assist with onboarding, training, and orientation of new hires
- Track and report metrics including headcount, attendance, and output
- Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and escalate issues as needed
- Ensure proper timekeeping and accurate reporting of hours worked
- Support continuous improvement efforts within operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in staffing, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume, fast-paced workforce
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred in Chicago market
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and reporting tools
- Ability to work overtime
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Warehouse or manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures
- Frequent standing, walking, and movement across the production floor
- Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs as needed
- Flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends based on client needs
