Job Description:
We are seeking Bilingual Case Managers to join our team in Burbank, CA. In this role, you will provide comprehensive workforce services, supporting clients in advancing their education, enhancing their employment skills, and achieving lasting employment.
We are looking for candidates who are fluent in both Armenian and English and passionate about empowering people to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full-service case management to a caseload of participants facing significant employment barriers.
- Apply specialized expertise to support participants receiving long-term Cash Assistance, individuals with a history of sanctions or program non-compliance, and ex-offenders.
- Assess and consider participants' employment barriers when recommending appropriate program placements.
- Conduct job readiness screenings and employment assessments to evaluate participants' preparedness for the workforce.
- Identify participants' needs for Back to Work services and develop individualized Employment Plans.
- Refer applicants and participants to appropriate program components, ensuring engagement in services that foster success.
- Manage and coordinate all project services delivered to participants, ensuring comprehensive and cohesive support.
- Connect participants with community resources, including emergency and long-term childcare services, and provide follow-up to ensure effectiveness.
- Offer employment counseling, provide job leads, and assist participants with securing and retaining employment.
- Deliver ongoing support to help participants maintain job stability, including coordinating retention activities as necessary.
- Initiate and manage non-compliance procedures for participants who fail to meet program obligations.
- Participate regularly in workgroups and committees aimed at assessing participant needs, enhancing services, and implementing innovative service delivery strategies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in Armenian and English is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a passion for working with people, and a commitment to helping individuals achieve self-sufficiency.
