Travel/Local Oncology Registered Nurse Contract

Glens Falls, NY

Monday-Friday

8am-4:30 pm

$29.00 per hour taxable wage

$819.00 per week non-taxable housing stipend

$602.00 per week non-taxable meal stipend

Gross wages per week: $2581.00

*wages posted are for travelers that live oustide 

50 mile radius from facility. Local applicants will be paid at a lower weekly wage

Position Details:

A facility in Glens Falls, NY is looking for an Oncology Registered Nurse for their Malta Oncology Location in Malta, NY. Must have minimum 2 years experience. Must have EPIC experience. Must have experience with outpatient Onc. Infusions. Must be proficient in peripheral IV insertions and port access. BLS and IV certifications are required and a chemo/bio certification or OCN certification is preferred.

Unit Details:

• Charting: EPIC. -Cancer Center/Hematology/Onc: 17 exam rooms with 10 Providers. Average of 15 patients per day.-Cancer Center/Cancer Treatment Center: Charting: EPIC. 20 outpatient chairs. 5 to 8 patients per day. -Unit requires De-Escalation training

The weekly stipend is not earned until the minimum scheduled hours are worked for the work week. If less than the minimum scheduled hours are worked in any work week, the weekly stipend will be reduced by the number of hours below the minimum scheduled hours for the week..
