Job Description:
The Data Analyst III plays a key role in driving process development, improvement, optimization, and sustainability across assigned Commercial functions and stakeholders. This role focuses on enhancing global supply chain and transportation logistics through data-driven insights, system improvements, and cross-functional collaboration.
Contract role until 9/2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business process development, improvement, optimization, and sustainability initiatives for assigned Commercial functions.
- Execute exception reports and perform root cause analysis to strengthen monitoring and improve Global Supply Chain and Transportation Logistics processes.
- Provide daily support to cross-functional Logistics Transparency Program teams.
- Develop and deliver performance analytics and metrics, including benchmarking, target comparisons, carrier performance, rail maintenance, truck retains, runouts, and overfills.
- Partner with IT to execute SAP system changes and own functionality enhancements that support logistics and transportation process improvements.
- Collaborate with global business process owners to build consensus, align priorities, and drive sustainable improvements.
- Support special projects and business improvement opportunities, ensuring alignment with strategic business needs.
- Establish business metrics, ownership, and accountability for processes and sub-processes to sustain project benefits.
- Communicate work status to program SMEs, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Balance strategic and tactical priorities while managing time commitments and deliverables effectively.
- Apply subject matter expertise in logistics systems, processes, functions, performance tools, and interconnectivity to improve business outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the country of posting.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, MIS, Business, or related field.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in data analytics, supply chain, or operations.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI and SQL.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with close attention to detail.
- Business acumen to understand Commercial Supply Chain, Transportation Operations, and cross-functional integration points across the value chain.
- Ability to adapt quickly, manage shifting priorities, and operate effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to ensure clarity and alignment across stakeholders.
- Self-starter with the initiative to recommend and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency.
- Strong influencing, collaboration, and conflict management skills.
