Bindery/Press Operator - (Newville, PA)

Pay Rate: $20.00-$22.00/hour DOE

Schedule Options:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Overview:

We're looking for a Bindery or Press Operator who is detail-oriented and enjoys hands-on production work in a digital printing environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality printed materials are finished, bound, and packaged according to specifications and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain bindery and finishing equipment such as folders, cutters, collators, laminators, drills, and stitchers.
• Assist with printing and production processes, including setup, operation, and maintenance of digital and offset printing machines.
• Review print orders for accuracy, ensuring all specifications (paper type, size, color, finishing) are met.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues to maintain production flow.
• Coordinate with press operators and production team members to meet daily print and finishing goals.
• Perform quality checks on printed and finished materials to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Package and prepare completed jobs for distribution or shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating bindery or print production equipment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with daily production targets.
• Basic computer and data entry skills (experience with Microsoft Office or Smartsheet a plus).
