Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a point of contact for employees and applicants, explaining company policies, benefits, and procedures.
Assist with employee relations by conducting investigations, documenting incidents, and providing recommendations for resolution.
Maintain HR data integrity by entering personnel changes and generating reports from the HRIS system.
Process benefit changes and respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits.
Support recruiting efforts, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
Maintain and update the company's organizational chart and employee photo directory.
Assist with planning and executing employee engagement events.
Order service anniversary awards and manage HR-related supplies.
Handle HR administrative tasks such as sorting mail, maintaining personnel files, and responding to EDD disability and unemployment claims.
Support customer visits by coordinating catering and meeting setups.
Ensure training records are collected, reviewed, and properly filed.
Perform other HR-related duties as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Basic understanding of HR principles, including benefits and wage/hour laws.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to multitask and work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
