Job Title: Floor Supervisor

Details: M-F, 7am-3pm

Starting Wage: $80-$90k/year

Location: Chicago, IL 60617

Position Summary

The Floor Supervisor oversees daily on-site workforce operations within a client facility, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards are consistently met. This role acts as the primary point of contact between APS Grupa, client leadership, and the temporary workforce, driving performance, attendance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of temporary employees on the production floor
• Monitor productivity, attendance, and performance to meet client expectations and KPIs
• Serve as the on-site liaison between APS Grupa, client management, and employees
• Enforce workplace safety standards, policies, and procedures
• Provide coaching, guidance, and disciplinary action when necessary
• Assist with onboarding, training, and orientation of new hires
• Track and report metrics including headcount, attendance, and output
• Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and escalate issues as needed
• Ensure proper timekeeping and accurate reporting of hours worked
• Support continuous improvement efforts within operations

Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in staffing, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environments
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage a high-volume, fast-paced workforce
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or Polish) preferred in Chicago market
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and reporting tools

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Warehouse or manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures
• Frequent standing, walking, and movement across the production floor
• Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs as needed
• Flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends based on client needs
