We are Hiring Immediately for a Assembly position!
SUMMARY: The Production Assembler is responsible for the assembly of raw materials, including corrugated paper and plastic composite, and building the company's products in preparation for shipment. The assembler is responsible for upholding quality standards while meeting production quotas. Assembles products according to specific build instructions
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs the following responsibilities in accordance with VoidForm policies and procedures, work rules, expectations, and behavior standards:
Breaks down raw materials as needed for each product, to include separating corrugated paper from perforations.
Read and interpret technical documents to ensure accurate assembly.
Organizes necessary components to build corrugated paper and/or plastic cells according to build instructions, ensures finished product meets build specifications.
Responsible for general housekeeping to maintain an extremely clean and safe environment.
Reports any production issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
Responsible for the safe use of tools, including box knives and pneumatic staple guns, that are required during assembly.
Supports teammates by working cohesively with coworkers in the assembly process, whereby some employees' pay rates are determined by number of units per day.
Submit production sheets (piecework counts) to supervisor daily for approval (Piece-pay only).
Performs other duties as assigned based on experience, skills, and business needs.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Training, and Experience Required)
Required: 2 to 3 years of work experience.
Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Manufacturing assembly experience.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Ability to think critically and respond quickly in adjusting initiatives and priorities accordingly.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, high-noise manufacturing environment.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
Ability to read and interpret production work orders, as well as communication skills. 2 Production Assembler
Ability to manage time effectively to meet objectives.
Strong work ethic.
Demonstrated ability to comply with the company's behavior standards and values.
