Job Description:

Job Description - A facility in Auburn, NY is looking for a Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care, administer medications, and monitor patient health in various healthcare settings. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop treatment plans, educate patients on health management, and ensure compliance with medical protocols. Maintain accurate patient records and respond to emergencies promptly. Focus on patient advocacy and delivering compassionate care to promote recovery and well-being.

Required Experience/Skills:  2 years of experience required; Must be able to interpret own tele strips; IV experience required (the facility does not have an IV team.

Preferred Experience/Skills:  ACLS, Travel experience preferred.

Required Lic/Certs: New York State Nursing License, BLS; NIHSS certification and 6 continuing education hours (CEUs) on Stroke-related topics are required prior to start.

Unit Info: 90-bed Community Hospital; RN:PT is 1:6-7

Shift: Days (7:00 am - 7:30 pm); Every other weekend is required.

Duration: 13 weeks

Pay Package Breakdown

• Taxable Wages Per Hour: $32.75


• Taxable Wages Per Week: $1,179.00


• Non-Taxable Housing Per Week: $770.00


• Non-Taxable MI&E  Per Week: $476.00


• Estimated Gross Wages Per Week: $2,425 for 36 hours
