Only considering candidates with the following:
- Prior experience in warehouse or inventory management
- Knowledge of inventory control practices, including cycle counting
- Ability to operate a forklift (certification or willingness to train)
- Familiarity with kitting, Kanban, and materials handling procedures
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems or ERP software
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical ability to lift, move, and stand for extended periods
- Problem-solving skills for resolving inventory issues
- Understanding of and compliance with QHSE standards
- Good organizational and housekeeping skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Execute product and material handling and movement within the warehouse in compliance with established policies, procedures, and standards
- Inspect and accept incoming shipments against supplier packing lists, ensuring items are received in a satisfactory state
- Complete material fulfillment upon Division request
- Maintain housekeeping in the warehouse and goods shipping/receiving area
- Comply with applicable company policies, including personnel and QHSE standards
- Perform inspection, labeling, receiving, storing, picking, packing, issuing, disposal, and cycle counting of inventory items
- Accept supplier deliveries, verify items received are in good condition and match packing lists or purchase orders, and report discrepancies promptly
- Ensure outgoing inventory is correctly packed and accompanied by complete documentation
- Optimize warehouse bin locations to improve efficiency and safety
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in warehouse and shipping/receiving areas
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and support periodic physical inventory counts
- Carry out tasks related to Kitting and Kanban point-of-use replenishment and other materials management initiatives
- Investigate and resolve inventory and warehouse issues as directed by the Supervisor
- Ensure continued compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and standards
- Operate a forklift or other material handling equipment upon completion of training and certification
