The Warehouse Lead is responsible for providing daily direction and support to line staff to ensure all customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This role plays a key part in maintaining warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards while fostering a productive and positive work environment. The Warehouse Lead will also assist in training new employees, cross-training existing team members, and monitoring performance to ensure operational excellence.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide daily leadership and direction to warehouse staff to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment.
• Monitor and drive team performance to achieve daily shipping, picking, and packing goals.
• Track and report daily production metrics to the Operations Manager.
• Serve as the communication link between warehouse and office teams regarding out-of-stock SKUs, low inventory, and other operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with all SOPs and SLAs across multiple sales channels.
• Maintain accurate inventory through proper documentation and adherence to established procedures.
• Promote and enforce workplace safety, ensuring all employees receive required training and follow safety policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
• Train and onboard new hires; cross-train existing employees to ensure workforce flexibility.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with staff to promote teamwork and accountability.
• Immediately report all work-related injuries to HR and the Operations Manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Proven leadership experience managing or supervising warehouse teams.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and inventory management best practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and train warehouse staff to ensure performance standards are met.
• Hold employees accountable to company policies and operational goals.
• Report performance issues and provide feedback to the Operations Manager and HR.
• Contribute input for employee performance reviews.
• Approve PTO and timesheets (upon transition to full-time employment).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
