Finance Manager

Job Description:

We're looking for a Finance Manager to oversee all accounting and financial operations for two manufacturing locations. This role is hands-on and requires strong knowledge of GAAP, great communication skills, and the ability to work closely with local site leaders. You will manage general accounting, month-end close, AP/AR, and support the annual audit.

What You'll Do

• Oversee daily accounting operations for two sites; ensure accuracy and consistency across both locations.
• Prepare journal entries, manage the general ledger, and support month-end/year-end close.
• Review financial data, reconcile accounts, and help drive process improvements.
• Lead Accounts Receivable: invoicing, cash application, collections, and resolving billing issues.
• Manage Accounts Payable: invoice processing, payments, vendor reconciliations, and coding accuracy.
• Support annual audits and maintain strong internal controls.
• Partner with site management to understand financial needs and provide recommendations.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including some leadership responsibility.
• Strong GAAP knowledge.
• Advanced skills in ERP/GL systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• CPA or working toward CPA.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR/CUI compliance).
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• ~30% travel required between locations.
