Details:

• $18.50 per hour pay rate
• Full Time
• Contract - Temp to Hire
• Onsite in Thomasville, GA
• Schedule: 6am - 3:30pm

Only considering candidates with the following:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience in Assembly
• Ability to operate a computer and communicate via telephone
• Ability to read information through warehouse computer software
• Effective communication skills
• Experience with SAP preferred

Responsibilities:

• Successfully completes all site-specific training regarding safety and quality. Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence.
• Assembles and/or tests mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination.
• May assemble minor variations of in-house standard products.
• Follows clear assembly/test instructions, e.g. color code, pvc thermal welding and thread taping. Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures. Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP), if applicable to site. Completes required documentation related to production.
• Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities. Reads and understands simple layout and assembly drawings.
• Maintains equipment and area in clean safe condition.
• Take care of internal and external customer needs and expectations.
