Job Description:
We are Hiring Immediately for a Warehousing Shipping Clerk position in an exciting warehouse facility!

We are hiring a Warehouse Associate for an onsite, day shift role in Sacramento CA!

Details:

• $20 per hour pay rate
• Full Time
• Contract - 6 months
• Onsite in Sacramento, CA
• Schedule: 8am - 5pm M-F

Only considering candidates with the following:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience in similar Warehouse role
• Team-Oriented: Must be able to work well with others and contribute to a positive, cooperative team environment.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to inspect goods and shipments with a high degree of accuracy.
• Safety Awareness: Adhere to all safety protocols and prioritize safety at all times.
• Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift, bend, and move items frequently, and perform tasks that require both standing and moving.
• Adaptability: Willing to rotate between tasks, from forklift operation to manual handling of goods, and adjusting to varying temperatures in the warehouse.
• Forklift Experience (Preferred but Not Required): Experience operating a forklift is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Good Attendance: A strong track record of punctuality and reliable attendance.
• Training: Initial training will cover warehouse operations and safety procedures. Forklift training will be provided after 2-4 weeks on the job.

Responsibilities:

• Load and Unload Trucks: Safely and efficiently load and unload goods from delivery trucks.
• Shipping & Receiving: Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including shipping via UPS and inspecting incoming shipments.
• Bill of Lading (BOL): Review and sign Bills of Lading for accuracy and completeness.
• Inspect and Rework Pallets: Inspect, re-box, and re-strap pallets and returned items to ensure safe handling and storage.
• Forklift Operation (eventually): While forklift operation is required, it is not the sole responsibility of this role. Forklift duties include adjusting the forklift blades and moving smaller items on the dock. Candidates will receive training on the forklift after 2-4 weeks of warehouse training.
• Physical Tasks: Move and organize warehouse inventory, frequently getting up from the forklift to perform tasks. This is not a sedentary or stationary position.
