GAP Specialist

Job Description:

The GAP Specialist, under the leadership of the Team Leader, Claim Adjudication, will support the process to increase the profitability of the company's finance and insurance (F&I) products and services provided to automobile dealers.  The Specialist will provide superior customer service to dealers, consumers, lienholders, and other customers, adjust and process claims for GAP products, and settle claims pursuant to company guidelines.  The GAP Specialist will take action to enhance cross-functional coordination and expand internal communications.

• Location: Houston, TX 77077
• Hourly Pay rate: $25.00 Per hour
• In office Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

What We Need from You

• For each claim, verify contract information and determine coverage for vehicle specified.
• Determine validity and reason for total loss with proper documentation.
• Establish claim process and etiquette with customer within contract allotted time.
• Work with customer, lien holder and insurance companies to attain required documentation.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• While performing the duties of the job, the Contractor is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data.
• Communicate, and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices.
• Move about the office and around the corporate campus as needed.
• Move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.

Experience and Educational Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Previous relevant experience preferably some claims experience.
