We're currently looking to grow our team with a Support Agent who is enthusiastic about helping others and thrives in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
Job Summary:
We're seeking a Support Agent to assist customers via phone, email, live chat, and occasionally in person. This is a hybrid role that blends customer support and light sales, focused on providing accurate information and outstanding service to both new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with product questions, pricing, order status, lead times, and general information
- Provide support via phone, email, live chat, and in-person walk-ins
- Respond to customer inquiries using our Zendesk ticketing system
- Create and process invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Guide customers through the order process and follow up on open issues
- Help troubleshoot product concerns and suggest solutions
- Maintain a friendly, professional tone while managing high-volume interactions (up to 50+ per day)
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; must enjoy working with people
- Some experience in customer support or sales is helpful but not required
- Background or familiarity with construction, carpentry, handyman work, or design is a plus
- Basic knowledge of tools and how to use a tape measure is ideal
- Comfortable learning new systems (Zendesk, QBO, internal order platforms)
- Dependable, eager to learn, and solution-oriented
