Job Overview:
<ul>
 <li>Consolidates orders from the Storage & Retrieval area</li>
 <li>Uses Oracle Telnet to confirm and pack orders</li>
 <li>Compares packing list with product label (as opposed to pick ticket itself)</li>
 <li>Counts items to ensure correct amount is shipped</li>
 <li>Packs boxes correctly to ensure product is not damaged in transit</li>
 <li>Assists with loading trucks or trailers using forklift or pallet jack.</li>
 <li>Visually checks product for defects</li>
 <li>Notifies manager of discrepancies</li>
 <li>Visually checks packing list for special customer requirements (packing, labeling, etc.)</li>
 <li>Operates forklift to move merchandise to be shipped</li>
 <li>Weighs merchandise and completes bill of lading and packing list</li>
 <li>Stocks work station periodically to ensure correct boxes and packing materials are available</li>
 <li>Assists Shipping Manager to ensure timely and accurate processing of all orders</li>
 <li>Keeps work area cleaned and well organize.</li>
