Job Description: Job Description - A facility in Ogdensburg, NY is looking for an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN) who will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and monitor patient health in various healthcare settings. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop treatment plans, educate patients on health management, and ensure compliance with medical protocols. Maintain accurate patient records and respond to emergencies promptly. Focus on patient advocacy and delivering compassionate care to promote recovery and well-being.
Required Experience/Skills: 1 year of ICU experience but willing to look at someone with strong Stepdown experience; Rhythm Interpretation required
Required Lic/Certs: New York State Nursing License, BLS, ACLS, PALS
Unit Info: 10 bedsNurse-Patient ratio 2:1 occasionally 3:1
Charting System: Meditech
Shift: Nights (7:00 pm-7:30 am)
Duration: 13 weeks
