Job Description: GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Unload, store and pull office furniture orders. 
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Train associates on established warehouse procedures and inventory methods
 In the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager, act on his/her behalf in handling customers and employees questions & problems
 Assist Warehouse Supervisor/Manager in scheduling work and coordinating contract labor
 Determine items to be pulled, inventoried or put away on racks based on daily paperwork received
 Pull product and stage for pickup and delivery
 Use forklift and order selector to load, unload and move product following safety procedures at all times
 Inspect product for damage, scan and properly tag all product
 Keep accurate records of all product received or distributed
 Handle all customer related requests
 Work with Warehouse Supervisor to ensure schedules are met
 Ensure warehouse personnel have specification guides and space to store furniture
 Maintain cycle counts for inventory
 Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse area
 
KEY SELECTION AND SUCCESS FACTORS
 
WORK EXPERIENCE:
 At least 3 years' warehouse experience
 Previous Lead or Supervisor experience strongly preferred
 Forklift Certification or ability to be forklift certified required
 Office furniture experience preferred
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
 High School Degree or equivalent
 
OTHER/PREFERRED:
 Strong Microsoft Office skills
 Ability to learn and pass driver safety training program
 Excellent communication and facilitation skills
 Good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
 Ability to multi-task and work with many interruptions
