Details:

• $18 - $22 per hour pay rate
• Full Time
• Contract
• Onsite in Whittier CA

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge related to material handling equipment is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, cranes, and other heavy equipment safely.
• Must be capable of performing heavy lifting tasks (up to [insert weight limit] pounds).
• Experience using RF scanners for inventory management is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• The Materials Handler is responsible for moving materials from machines at workstation as part of production process.
• Issue and transfer parts for production.
• Assist Production Planner and assembly stores whenever required.
• Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.
