Job Description:

Location: 77041

Pay: $21-$23/hr

Schedule: M-Th 6 AM - 4 PM


Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming shipments of metal feedstock and verify the contents against

purchase orders and packing lists.

  • Inspect materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies.
  • Unload materials using appropriate equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
  • Accurately document received materials in the inventory management system.
  • Safely store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
  • Prepare metal powders for shipment, including packing, labeling, and documentation.
  • Verify that outgoing shipments match customer orders and specifications.
  • Arrange transportation for outgoing shipments, coordinating with carriers and logistics

providers.

  • Ensure all shipments comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including daily updates to the inventory

management system.

  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconciliations.
  • Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies or low stock levels to the supervisor.
  • Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures for handling metal powders.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding the handling and

transportation of hazardous materials.

Required and Preferred Experience and Skills, Education Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations, preferably with

metal powders or hazardous materials.

  • Certification for HazMat (ground) and Dangerous Goods (air) shipping is strongly

preferred (otherwise, a willingness/ability to be certified for this is required)

  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance

instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with inventory management systems.
