Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments of metal feedstock and verify the contents against
purchase orders and packing lists.
Inspect materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies.
Unload materials using appropriate equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
Accurately document received materials in the inventory management system.
Safely store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
Prepare metal powders for shipment, including packing, labeling, and documentation.
Verify that outgoing shipments match customer orders and specifications.
Arrange transportation for outgoing shipments, coordinating with carriers and logistics
providers.
Ensure all shipments comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate inventory records, including daily updates to the inventory
management system.
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconciliations.
Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies or low stock levels to the supervisor.
Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures for handling metal powders.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding the handling and
transportation of hazardous materials.
Required and Preferred Experience and Skills, Education Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations, preferably with
metal powders or hazardous materials.
Certification for HazMat (ground) and Dangerous Goods (air) shipping is strongly
preferred (otherwise, a willingness/ability to be certified for this is required)
Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency with inventory management systems.

minimum supervision on assigned projects when required.
