Job Description:
We are Hiring Immediately for a Production position!

Metro Screenworks is seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Saw Operator to join our production team. This role involves cutting aluminum frames to precise specifications using a miter saw. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a miter saw to cut aluminum screen frame material to required sizes
• Read and interpret work orders and cut lists accurately
• Ensure all cuts are clean, precise, and meet production specifications
• Inspect materials before and after cutting for quality assurance
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Follow all company safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
• Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding any material or equipment issues
• Assist with other production tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a miter saw or similar cutting equipment preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow detailed measurements
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• High school diploma or GED preferred
