Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Remote Traveling Nurse Recruiter to join our healthcare staffing team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing qualified traveling nurses into healthcare assignments across the country. This is a remote position, but you will be expected to engage with nurses nationwide and occasionally travel to recruitment events or healthcare facilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and recruit qualified travel nurses through job boards, social media, referrals, and internal databases.
  • Conduct phone interviews, assess qualifications, and match candidates with suitable travel assignments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel nurses to ensure ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and communicate with credentialing, compliance, and placement teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Stay current with healthcare trends, licensing requirements, and regional staffing demands.
  • Manage a pipeline of active candidates and keep accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Occasionally attend conferences, job fairs, or facility visits to support in-person recruitment efforts (travel expenses covered).

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in nurse recruiting or healthcare staffing (travel nurse recruiting)
  • Proven success in a fast-paced, metrics-driven recruitment environment.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare recruitment and VMS/MSP systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable using CRM/ATS platforms and virtual communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Bullhorn, etc.).
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for work-related events.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Existing network of travel nurses or connections in the healthcare staffing industry.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
