Now Hiring: Lead Maintenance Technician

Location: Houston, TX

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay: $35-$36 per hour (based on experience)

Your Role:

As our Lead Maintenance Technician, you'll be the go-to expert responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of CNC, lathe, mill, and press equipment. You'll keep our operations running smoothly, ensuring machines and facility systems are operating at peak performance. This is a hands-on role where your technical skills, leadership, and problem-solving mindset will directly impact production efficiency and team success.

What You'll Do:

Lead daily maintenance efforts across all facility equipment and systems

Diagnose and repair CNC machines with Fanuc, Mazatrol, and Haas controls

Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, tools, and building systems

Collaborate with production teams to resolve issues quickly

Maintain detailed equipment records and maintenance logs in our system (KPA or similar)

Support safety initiatives and participate in regular safety evaluations

What You Bring:

5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, including CNC repair

High school diploma or GED

Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems

Knowledge of facility maintenance (lighting, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)

Familiarity with welding, forklift and crane operations, and multimeter usage

Experience reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Ability to stay calm under pressure and prioritize urgent repairs

Physical & Safety Requirements:

This role involves standing, climbing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), crawling, and working in confined or overhead spaces. Proper use of PPE (hard hat, steel toe boots, respirator, etc.) is mandatory.
