Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the Communications Delivery Specialist is to direct the production, printing, fulfillment and mailing of collateral for Empower Retirement. This includes;
managing the implementation of complex participant communication deliverables and consulting with internal clients regarding the production of materials for Participant Communications, Retirement Education, Sales and Marketing, and Plan Sponsor Services.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in an integrated service team and serve as the primary consultant in developing client communication plans. Manage the implementation of all elements of complex participant communication program deliverables for clients. Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction by recommending alternatives, developing and communicating timelines and answering questions. Assist with managing client budgets and project schedules for printing, production, fulfillment and postage. Coordinate all facets of the production process with Empower Retirement Graphics, vendors and outside service providers. Direct vendors to ensure projects meet generally accepted industry standards and practices and that all production, fulfillment or other activities are completed in accordance with agreed upon expectations. (90%)
Assist other teams and team members with special projects and mailings as needed. (10%)


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience, including five years of related project management, communications management and/or print production and purchasing experience.
Strong knowledge of pre-press, print production, U.S.P.S. and outside shipper requirements as well as automated mailing and printing equipment.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely; both verbally and in writing.
Attention to detail.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to effectively negotiate with vendors, internal partners and external clients.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Assertive, with the ability to work well as part of a team and under deadline pressure.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat
Working knowledge of Filemaker Pro


WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal Office environment.
Local travel required.
