Job Description: Job DescriptionA facility in Saratoga, NY, is looking for a Medical-Surgical Telemetry (MS) Registered Nurse (RN) who can provide direct patient care, administer medications, and monitor patient health in various healthcare settings. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop treatment plans, educate patients on health management, and ensure compliance with medical protocols. Maintain accurate patient records and respond to emergencies promptly. Focus on patient advocacy and delivering compassionate care to promote recovery and well-being.
They will consider local caregivers (50 miles or less) at a discounted rate.
Required Experience: Minimum 3 years experience. At least one-year of current experience with telemetry population.
Preferred Experience: Critical drip and CVA experience, Travel experience
Required Lic/Certs: New York State License, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification
Shift: Nights (7p-7a) Must work minimum every other holiday.
Duration: 13 weeks
Unit Info: Tele Float, 1:5-6, 40 beds, Adult and geriatric population with a focus on patients requiring telemetry monitoring, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, critical drugs and critical drips.
Float: May spend time in ER for ER hold patients
Charting System:  Epic (Must have experience)
