Job Description: Corestaff, a Swipejobs company, is seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to assist with maintenance and repairs on an as-needed basis at one of our client partner universities. This temporary contract position is ideal for an experienced professional with a valid home improvement license who can handle various tasks, including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general facility upkeep.  This position also requires a background check.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
 <li>Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry, and general upkeep.</li>
 <li>Troubleshoot and fix plumbing and electrical issues as permitted under licensing.</li>
 <li>Install and repair fixtures, furniture, and equipment as needed.</li>
 <li>Respond promptly to maintenance requests from university staff and faculty.</li>
 <li>Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with university and regulatory standards.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications & Requirements:
<ul>
 <li>Valid home improvement license (required).</li>
 <li>Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance worker, or in a similar role.</li>
 <li>Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general maintenance.</li>
 <li>Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently.</li>
 <li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li>
 <li>Must have reliable transportation and necessary tools.</li>

 <li>Work will be assigned on an as-needed basis depending on university maintenance requests.</li>
 <li>Flexible schedule, with potential for daytime, evening, or weekend work.</li>
