Job Description: Job Description (Travel Contract): A facility in Glens Falls, NY is looking for an Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care, administer medications, and monitor patient health in various healthcare settings. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop treatment plans, educate patients on health management, and ensure compliance with medical protocols. Required Experience/Skills: 2 years experience; Must be proficient in peripheral IV insertion and port access
Required Lic/Certs: BLS, ONS Chemo Administration Certification; This facility requires de-escalation training
Preferred Lic/Certs: OCN Certification
Unit Info: Cancer Center/Hematology/Oncology; 17 exam rooms with 10 providers; Average of 15 patients per day
Charting: Epic - must have experience
Shift: Days (8:00 am-4:30 pm)
Duration: 13 weeks
