Only considering candidates with the following:
- High School Diploma required, AA or BS in Business Admin, Finance, or Accounting preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Office Management
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
Responsibilities:
- Works closely with Area Controller to ensure financial data is accurate and timely: includes activities such as journal entries, budget preparation, financial reporting.
- Maintains all employee and financial files, in accordance with WestRock regulations. Maintains standards of documentation, record-keeping and reporting as prescribed by corporate and division policies.
- Coordinates, and performs business support such as processing and monitoring of accounts payable and receivable, shipping and receiving, order receipt and entry.
- Responsible for preparation and distribution of routine and standardized reports and correspondence.
- Performs or assists in month-end closing.
- Ensures the smooth flow of the office, including tasks alignment, coverage, cross-training, and other.
- May supervise dispatch, administrative, weighmaster and/or accounting clerical support.
- Assists with customer service, mail processing and distribution, payroll data entry, filing and record-keeping.
- Workers Compensation claim processing with benefits dept.
- Supports hourly recordkeeping systems such as PeopleSoft and Kronos.
- Prepare and issue offer letters, background checks, physicals, enters I-9 documentation into E-verify system for hourly hires.
