ER Holding Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Job Description: A facility in Germantown, TN is looking for an ER Holding Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Provide direct patient care, administer medications, and monitor patient health in various healthcare settings. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop treatment plans, educate patients on health management, and ensure compliance with medical protocols. Maintain accurate patient records and respond to emergencies promptly. Focus on patient advocacy and delivering compassionate care to promote recovery and well-being.

Required Experience/Skills:  Minimum 2 years of experience; Stepdown and or Med/Surg experience due to floating; 1 year of Travel experience

Required License/Certs:  State Nursing License or Compact State License, BLS

Facility/Unit Info: Primarily ED Holding, but will need to have Stepdown and/or Med Surg experience due to floating.  The Stepdown/MS RNs will hold the Stepdown/Med Surg patients in the ED while they wait for a room.  If they are not needed to hold patients, they will float to the unit; Ratio 1:6/7

Shift:  Nights 3x12 (7:00 pm - 7:00 am)

Duration: 13 weeks

Pay Package Breakdown for 36 hrs:

• Taxable Wages Per Hour: $23.50
• Taxable Wages Per Week: $846.00
• Non-Taxable Housing Per Week: $903.00
• Non-Taxable MI&E  Per Week: $518.00
• Estimated Gross Wages Per Week: $2,267.00
• Estimated Gross Wages Per Hour: $62.97
