Job Description:
We are Hiring Immediately for a Human Resources position in an exciting warehouse facility! Working with managers and the Recruiting Specialist coordinates the need for and usage of temporary employees (temps) with ongoing staffing needs and recruiting efforts. Receives requests for temps and verifies appropriate executive management's approval before proceeding with filling requests. Communicates with temp agencies, managers, and HR manager in submitting orders for, acquiring or cancelling temporary employees. Ensure agencies compliance with 1-9 Employment Eligibility program for temps received for assignments. Keep track of temporary employees (those here and where assigned, those going and those coming) and communicate with managers to keep facility staffed as needed. Handle the onboarding process for the temporary employees including the conducting of new temp orientation making sure employees understand cGMPs and any other necessary training. Monitor use of timekeeping systems and temporary employees time, making sure it is accurate. Obtain temporary employee time & attendance data from the time system; review for accuracy; make adjustments and submit the information to the correct temp agency for payroll processing. Communicate and work with temp agency and employees to make necessary corrections. Coordinate and facilitate the logistical aspects of off boarding, including completing final pay hours, obtaining company property before departure and ensuring there are no loose ends. Verify invoices against timekeeping records to ensure accuracy and noting on invoices for accounting the department or area in which each temp worked. Assist in carrying out various company and human resource programs and procedures for new and existing employees and temps; perform customer service functions, answering employee requests and questions and helping where needed. Work closely with the recruiting specialist in the recruitment, onboarding, recordkeeping and retention
