2nd shift Forklift Operator - Crown

Job Description:

Summary:
Operate Crown brand Reach truck forklift, unload, and move materials within the facility, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport materials based on production schedules and shipping orders
• Load/unload goods from trucks, aircraft, or railcars
• Move palletized/crated goods throughout warehouse
• Stack goods in assigned storage areas per inventory instructions
• Secure and inspect loads for stability
• Conduct daily equipment checks (battery, lubrication, etc.)
• Remove waste/materials from machines and change attachments as needed
• Examine products for quality compliance
• Dump raw materials into machine hoppers
• Clear receiving area daily and ensure all pallets are scanned into system
• Report any damage to equipment, product, or facility to supervisor and inventory department
• Operate stand-up Crown forklifts and RF scanner as required

Requirements:

• At least one year of Reach truck experience
• Experience operating Crown stand-up forklifts preferred
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills
• Attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records

Physical Demands:

• Regular use of powered industrial truck
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent bending, standing, stooping, pivoting, and walking
• Strong balance, hand-eye-foot coordination
• Ability to judge distances, weights, and heights
• Comfortable working in a varying temperature environment
