Job Description:

Requirements:

• 10+ years of contract/subcontract experience in the private sector, with a minimum of 5 years in engineering/construction subcontracting for oil and gas.


• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Law, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Willingness to travel for site visits (up to 25%).

Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of project subcontract development, including planning, formation, execution, and close-out.


• Source and qualify subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.


• Create and issue RFQs, negotiate subcontract terms, and handle bid clarifications.


• Oversee subcontract execution, monitor project progress, and manage change orders.


• Assess subcontractor risks, review invoices, and ensure timely closeout of contracts.


• Collaborate with project team, legal, and management to resolve issues and avoid claims/litigation.

Working Conditions: Office-based with occasional site visits; lifting up to 25 pounds may be required.
