Bake and prepare pastry items according to specification/recipe.</li> <li>Monitor wastage and complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines.</li> <li>Motivate the team and ensure all work areas are always clean. Participate in on-job training and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.</li> <li>Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook.</li> <li>Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team.</li> <li>Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations.</li> <li>Store ingredients and food items according to food safety standards and follow the guidance of the executive or pastry chef.</li> <li>Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in pastry/bakery preferably within a large production volume unit.</li> <li>Knowledge of baking ingredients, measuringtechniques, mixing methods, kitchen equipment, and baking times.</li> <li>Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making,baking,or relevant fieldis desirable.</li></ul>Full-time, Part-time $19.0/hr
