Only considering candidates with the following:
<ul>
 <li>5+ years payroll experience</li>
 <li>UKG/Ultipro experience is a plus but not required</li>
 <li>Strong accounting knowledge; Reconciliations, Journal Entries</li>
 <li>Solid understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws</li>
 <li>Strong analytical skills; Solve unique, complex problems; Make basic decisions, escalating items where applicable</li>
 <li>Communicate clearly and effectively</li>
 <li>Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel</li>
 <li>Detail orientated, organized, accountable for accuracy and meeting deadlines</li>
 <li>Must be a team player to blend individual tasks / processes to achieve group objectives</li>
 <li>Experience with multi-state and Canadian payroll compliance</li>
 <li>Experience with state and local tax registration and reconciliation</li>

Responsibilities:
<ul>
 <li>Develop full understanding of the inputs and outputs of payroll cycles</li>
 <li>Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, analyzing and entering data utilizing the UKGPro payroll system in accordance with policy and procedures</li>
 <li>Wage Verifications</li>
 <li>Reporting and remittance of payroll deductions</li>
 <li>Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures and have knowledge of what data and calculations are required in assigned areas</li>
 <li>Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information</li>
 <li>Ensure complete, accurate and timely processing of information</li>
 <li>Collaborate with payroll colleagues as well as other business areas, including Human Resources, Benefits, Compensation, Finance and Technology.</li>
 <li>Year End W-2 processing</li>
 <li>Balance sheet account reconciliation support</li>
 <li>Provide analysis and reporting as required and assigned by management</li>
 <li>Provide customer service by responding to employee questions and requests. Monitor the Payroll Inquiries mailbox</li>
