Ask us to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, opt out of sale or sharing, or remove yourself from candidate search results.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have. This is where you tell us what you want done with your personal information.

Use the form at the end of this page to ask us to access, correct, delete, or send you a copy of the information we hold about you, to object to how we use it, to opt out of the sale or sharing of it, or to remove yourself from our candidate search results.

Anyone can submit a request, wherever you live. If you live in a US state with a comprehensive consumer data protection and privacy law, in the United Kingdom, or in the European Economic Area, you have specific rights under that law and we will honour them under that law. If your local law does not give you a formal right, submit the form anyway and we will still consider your request.

Opt out, or remove yourself from search results

Some US state privacy laws define the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information broadly, and making professional information available to employers through our candidate discovery functionality ("Candidate Discovery" or "AI Talent Platform") can fall within those definitions. We do not sell personal information for money, and further information on the product can be found in our Permitted Use Policy. Either way, the choice is yours: select the opt-out option on the form and we will stop making your personal information available in that way. We also honour Global Privacy Control and other recognised universal opt-out signals sent by your browser.

If your professional information appears in our search results and you do not want it to, select the removal option instead, or email privacy@swipejobs.com. Removal is permanent. We add you to a suppression list so your information is not re-added if it appears in a future data refresh. You do not need an account with us, you do not need to verify your identity to opt out or be removed, and you do not need to give a reason.

In the United States, Swipejobs is not a consumer reporting agency, and our Candidate Discovery product is not a consumer report. It must not be used to make decisions about employment eligibility, credit, insurance, or housing, and employers agree to that when they sign up. This is separate from the background checks we may run during onboarding if you become employed through us, which are described in our Privacy Policy.

How we handle your request

We confirm receipt with a reference number, then contact you to verify your identity and work through the detail. Handling the detail this way keeps the form short and means we only ask for what your particular request needs. We keep a record of the request and how we responded, as our data retention policy and applicable law require.

We respond within the timeframe the law requires, usually 45 days in the US and one month in the UK and EEA. Opt-outs and removals are faster, and no later than 15 business days. If a request is genuinely complex and the law allows an extension, we will tell you before the original deadline. If we cannot verify who you are, or we are required to keep information to meet a legal obligation, we will tell you why. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.

Authorised agents can submit on someone else's behalf. Select that option on the form. You will need to provide proof that you are authorised to act for that person, and we may contact them directly to confirm.

If you disagree with our decision, reply to our response and ask us to reconsider. Where the law gives you a right of appeal, we will treat it as an appeal. If you are in the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, and if you are in the EEA, to your local supervisory authority.

Make a request

Prefer not to use the form, or it will not load? Email privacy@swipejobs.com with your request and we will log it the same way. Opt-outs and removals do not require an account or proof of identity.

If you cannot use the form, or you email or write to us directly, we may point you back to this page so your request is logged and tracked properly. Please try the form first. Otherwise, contact us here:
